Welcome to the Keene State College Computer Science Lab homepage. The Computer Science Lab is located in the rear of the science center in room 162.

CS Lab Rules:
- This computer lab is for CS work only.
- Printing non computer science documents while in the lab is not permitted.
- There is no installing software of any kind on the lab computers.
- Playing games, checking email, and chatting are not allowed.
- Cellular phones must be turned off and may not be used in the lab.
- There is no eating in the lab. Any drinks must be in sealable containers.
CS Lab Principles:
- CS Lab tutors are in place to support CS101 and CS102 students and assist in the completion of HOPs and Technology Projects.
- Students taking other CS classes are encouraged to contact their course tutor for assistance.
- the person in place to specifically help students in a particular course, often a particular section of a course.
- check the schedule outside SCI 177 to determine when s/he is available.
- if the time is not convenient, please contact your instructor for assistance.

CS Lab Software:
Mouse over an icon to get support for that product.
To obtain a copy of the above programs, or other programs that may be required for your CS classes, you can see the Lab Manager in the lab on Monday and Wednesday 2:00pm to 5:00pm and Thursdays from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.
It is not recommended that CS101 or CS102 students use Open Office as a substitute for Microsoft Office due to differences in the programs and conflicts with file formats and HOP instructions.
